uk.sci.weather (UK Weather) (uk.sci.weather) For the discussion of daily weather events, chiefly affecting the UK and adjacent parts of Europe, both past and predicted. The discussion is open to all, but contributions on a practical scientific level are encouraged.

| Several years ago, while surfing, I came across a most wonderful site
| dedicated to weather patterns, aurora, clouds, atmosphere and such
| things.
|
| If I remember correctly, that site was set up by two weather pattern
| researchers.
|
| Unfortunately, since my hard drive conk, I've lost the address of that
| site. Have tried to locate that site via the various search engines,
| but all to no avail.
|
| If you happen to know about that site, I would be very grateful if you
| can share with me the url to that wonderful site !!
|
| But anyway, I am also looking for good website that has info regarding
| Auroras, weather patterns, clouds and atmosphere. Would you recommend
| some, please?
|
| It's for 50 little kids from a local primary school.
|
| Thank you !!!
|
| Sincerely,
| Lee

Leaving aside aurora, Google Earth shows current weather and has
a sky map. There you have geography, meteorology and astronomy
all in one package, a useful tool to any primary school teacher.

Other than photographs, I doubt there is much else available about
aurora for the age group you describe.
