After your constant insults to everyone who posts on here, this post

Just for the record, I haven't been constantly insulted. Please don't
speak for me.

Apologies Alan, I didn't mean to speak for everyone! But........You'd
have to not be any of these to have not been insulted in one way, or
another and these are only in the last few weeks.

"More likely forcing; when two pressure systems come together. Which
begs an explanation for why they don't just mingle to expiry. (Far
too
technical for the droids on here I imagine.)" ....... not an insult if
you are not a droid.

And of course, if you are a droid?

"A droid lacks imagination. (And lacks humour and insight too, you
droid.) They tend to ask the same thing over and over again as they
lack the ability to learn. They never ask questions that have not
been asked before. And they seldom supply original answers.
Pretty much like inedible and unproductive sheep.

I bet they are good at housework"............

I never said that Fine, if you are not a droid, again.
I don't even think it is possible, unless you are referring to some
sort of major overhaul.

I hope you don't live in China, or Russia....."All I need now is China
or Siberia and/or both would be even nicer.
Not content with criminal characteristics towards humanity, the
enticing culture of communiteeism seems radically hostile to all forms
of pressure. Perhaps if we started calling them The People's
Liberation of National
Weather Data instead of Synoptics... Or perhaps if we stopped calling
them ******s? The *******!"

Could I ask you to elaborate how not calling people names such as the
above is an insult?

.....or anyone who has ever disagreed with him.....

"They put out the fires with ****? You are full of it".
"I just started to find you a link but then I thought, you could use
the mental exercise. And it will give you something to do while
waiting for the next instalment".

Your paragraph spacing is atrocious!

"Meanwhile if I could ask you to shut up for a few more days and then
come down on me like a ton of bricks if I am wrong, I might be
grateful..........Or not, as the case may be. ".

"If I could be bothered to correct your grammar I certainly can't be
asked to ascertain the correct diagnoses of my aspersion by means of
it. And that, you idiot, is why I shall do neither." etc (only a small
set of examples).

...or a scientist......"I should hate to be considered a scientist if the
present crop of bought and paid for sheeps heads are anything to go by".

.......or even people who have asked generally for help - in response
to a request from a teacher for help for primary school children he
said this; "You are either desperate or ignorant".

WTF would anyone need help otherwise?

As long as you have never replied to anything he has said, or are a
scientist, or have communist leanings, or have asked for help and had
a reply from him, or are one of the "droids" on here (which I think
refers to most of us,

Hey, easy there cowboy! Put you guns away. (Though I must admit a
smattering of agreement.)

then you may not have been insulted and I apologise.

Wait a little while though Alan, or suggest that his ideas
may not be the "only explanation" for what he sees, then you may feel
a little put out in the way that Weatherlawyer replies to people and
gets his ideas across.

I'm awfully sorry.

Is it something I said?

Well, I've been here for eleven years and nothing that he's ever posted
has made me feel 'put out'.

Perplexing isn't it.

Strange that you are in no way "put out", when so many are Alan -
including me. I thought my post might show you the error of
Weatherlawyer's ways, but it seems you wish to defend him by the proxy
of not being offended yourself. I really hope you stay being not
offended!

Best wishes, Paul

Just kf him. I have. It's not that he can be insulting (he can be very
insulting), or the indirectly proportional relationship between his
lunar-geo-weather content and the readability of his posts. He just
doesn't contribute anything to this group that relates to the way I use
it. I'm sure there are at least some here who are willing to put the
effort into reading his posts and his posts are, generally, on-topic.

Personally, I just think he's a little frustrated that his opinions (or
rather his opinions regarding his pet theories) are usually curtly
dismissed with derision or just plain misunderstood. The unreadability
of his posts [wrt his own pet theories] doesn't help.

I suppose I'd better dekf him for a while, now that I'm talking about
him.

Probably right. Probably not my place to say what I did either! But
there you go, I got fed up. I wish I had your enviable sang-froid, but
it's something I find hard to do.

Not strange at all because there's little evidence that 'so many are'.
I'm perplexed that you should think so.

I thought my post might show you the error of
Weatherlawyer's ways,

Please don't patronize me.

but it seems you wish to defend him by the proxy
of not being offended yourself.

It would be presumptuous of me to attempt to defend others who are
perfectly capable of defending themselves. Your assumption is wrong.

I really hope you stay being not
offended!

Thank you.

This is a very civilised newsgroup in which we all manage to jog along
without too much excitement and because of that it's a very enjoyable
environment.

Your 'ad holmium attempt to belittle another subscriber by posting in
his style I found offensive. I also found offensive your attempt to
present your views as representing those of the rest of this group. I
saw this in another newsgroup some years ago and such an attack quickly
developed into a very unpleasant vendetta which split the group apart in
a way which was very destructive with long lasting effects. Fortunately,
that's unlikely to happen here because of the natural ambience of the
group and because you appear to be the only person with such a deep
antipathy to the posts of 'Weathercaster. Your solution to your
antipathy is to kill file him, not to try to wage a war.

This is my last word on this as to take it any further would not, I
think, be helpful.

Reading this thread you'll find that at least 3 people have found
weatherlawer perplexing.

Perhaps sometimes you should allow other people there opinions without
always having to have the last word.
