RMK: Line of elegant Ac cas to the E and NE about an hour ago ... still visible but disappearing into the haze now ... resembling high-based Cu rather than the more conventional turreted Ac. Rest of Ac is in the SW-ern half of the sky and appears quite dense with dark shading, and that nebulous cast which suggests that rain is falling at altitude but not reaching the ground. 09-09: Tx 22.6 Tn 10.6 Tg 6.5 RR nil sss 13.1 Philip Eden Whipsnade 214m |
