Whilst walking along the north Devon coastline 10 miles east of Lynmouth
yesterday, I noticed what looked like a layer of photochemical smog hanging above the sea fog. The colour was brown and it was to the east in direction so I presume it was pollution from Cardiff or Bristol or both? The sky was clear to the west. Here is a picture of it, the camera didn't pick it out as well as it appeared to our own eyes but you can see it nonetheless. http://www.btinternet.com/~nickgardn...onbrischan.jpg ________________ Nick.
