Default rain and the weather girl

Was amazed to just watch Susan Powell on News 24s forecast who has not
mentioned the deluge of rain which is currently covering northeast London
and presumably all points nor nor west judging by the latest radar.I clocked
around 4mm between 1555 and 1608 and a further 5mm since ,and it's still
raining.
Not spectacular falls I know ,bur surely enough to get a mention on the
Beebs so called weather service !

Not just points NNW of you either. Some brief heavy stuff
here and rather threatening and gloomy. The wind has dropped out
almost entirely. This was not mentioned on R4 at 1 pm by Laura
something-or-other with the childish quacky voice. The R4 5.57pm
forecast is now down to a minute and a half to allow for vital trailer
information and a trivial items at the end of the PM programme. These
are what matter to the moppets who control these things. Can't they
be serious just for a few minutes each day? Thank God for the
internet.
