Yep,

I can see the shower from Teignmouth, looks like it is heading towards
Torquay.

Also showing up on the latest Met Office radar
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/...est_radar.html

Still dry here in Teignmouth though, but only small patches of blue
sky left.

Temp +16.2 at 12:30

Just heard thunder to the south.

Now where did I put that slice of humble pie!

:-)

Cloudy. Temp. 12.8C and falling.
(I still think it is a lovely day though because I love thunder too LOL)

Looking dark over your way Will.

The rainfall radar shows lots of rain falling between Exeter & Plymouth.

Dry here, patchy cumulus about and feeling reasonably warm in the light
winds.

(14:20), 19.2C, RH 48%, DP 8.0C, 1020.5 hPa (S), Wind 3 mph N.

Heavy stuff was further southwest of me Nick.

Just 0.8mm (AWS).
Now warm sunshine again and plenty of blue sky upwind.

Feels sticky now with the extra moisture, time to put my shorts on.
Promises to be a gorgeous second half of the afternoon!

Temperature responding nicely to the sunshine, now up to 14.5C again at
1500.

Heavy Thunderstorm with fairly large hail (1 to 2 cm). Ground completely
covered with Kids trying to make a hail man.

Not quite the same as the Bracknell storm we experienced back in 2002 but
quite spectacular. Can hear more thunder as I type from another cell over
Dartmoor to the North. Dog is starting to get agitated again

Hi Stan, nice to hear from you again (still in Plympton?).
Wow that sounds like quite an exciting storm!

All cleared up here now, completely sunny and temperature is actually rising
at 1900, now up to 14.8C.

Rubbish day then

:-)

Seriously, for here a rubbish day is 8/8 ST, dense fog with 50 metre
visibility, continuous driving rain all day (over 25mm), temperature 10C. A
not uncommon occurrence on Dartmoor (even in summer).
Today has actually been very interesting, watching the storms come and go
all around me. Got a lot of gardening done too! Must admit I didn't expect
the widespread storms which are still going over Lyme Bay and just to my
east.
