Meto site local forecast, 1st time I've seen this...
0100 Partly cloudy 10°C VRB 0 mph Good
0400 Partly cloudy 9°C NNE 3 mph Good 0700 Light Rain 10°C NNW 6 mph Very Good 1000 Heavy Rain Shower 10°C N 9 mph Very Good 1300 Sunny 13°C N 8 mph Very Good 1600 Sunny intervals 14°C N 7 mph 17 mph Very Good 1900 Sunny 14°C NNW 1 mph Very Good Never seen VRB before, guess it's for variable ? This is for Leeming which I keep an eye on as only 4 miles from home... |

Hi, Nick, Yes, VRB is wind direction variable but it is usually accompanied by a wind speed, or the direction cannot be variable! Wind speed 0mph should be calm with no direction imho.
