Just started to rain properly here at long last, but the grass is still
green, the flowers are beautiful and the hedgerows and trees are looking
fantastic. Oh yes, and it's very peaceful and tranquil here too with just
the noise of the birds and the wind, no traffic or aircraft noise
whatsoever. So all in all - fantastic, I'm enjoying life, eating home-grown
veg, never felt fitter, I'm tanned and well and isn't life wonderful, my
glass is half-full. Hope that makes you feel a bit better?!

Now now.

Today has been dry, quite cloudy with a few brief sunny intervals and since
the 7th it has been dry and sunny. Monthly sunshine now up to 146 hours and
there have been no sunless days. Rain total for month so far at 16.2 mm.

Getting breezy now, day max of 17.0°C.

(17:20), 15.8°C, RH 71%, DP 10.4°C, 1009.8 hPa (F), Wind 8 mph SSW.
