Obs - Reading, Southcote, 24 jun 2008
Southcote - 1300Z
SE F2-3 9999 3Cu045 7+CiCs220 +21.5/+8.8 1017 2Sc060 also present Cloud thickening last couple of hours. Could even be some As now around 16000 to 18000ft Just watched two forecasts on the BBC. Both of which suggested a fairly sunny afternoon for SE England and E. Anglia. I still think of Reading as being in Central Southern England. But certainly not a sunny afternoon here at the moment. Trouble is, not enough synops in the area these days and METAR reports often do not report all of the upper cloud. Eric Belton |
