Would that London MO rooftop figure count as the warmest this month
Colin? It wouldn't for me.

I realise that London MO does not meet the strict exposure criteria.
However, it is included in the synops list and is interesting to mention,
being in Central London where a lot of people live and work.

.... as the Met Office use this site's data on their web site in the
daily summary (with caveats about final checking etc.) it's probably
useful to show the figure in Colin's summaries. FWIW, I note that when
the 'final' summaries that I see are issued, these values are
suppressed.

For my own records, I always note the 'Central London' figure as such,
but with some sort of annotation such as 'roof-top' or 'non-standard
exposure', and then note the next lowest figure that meets more
sensible exposure criteria. I don't like to throw any data away if I
can help it!

Martin.

Most in A/C'd offices though, rather than exposed rooftops...
