Default A certain paper at it again....

"Miserable summer, washout, repeat of 2007" blah blah blah again.

Looking between the lines though the article goes on about "average"
temperatures and "average OR above average" rainfall. So nothing that
bad then after all. Remember that those awful "average" temperatures
are about 22C in southern England, positively tropical compared to
today....

Reminds me of how they predicted a dire rest of the summer on July
21st last year then a week later the worst spell of the summer
abruptly ended, with August mostly OK, except the middle week.

I saw this and was quite heartened, if The Express are saying it's going
to be miserable for the rest of the summer, then I predict a marked
improvement in a week or so....

Well it does seem that the forecast is hinting at something more sunnier and
drier next week.

Not a bad ol' day here after a wet and windy weekend. Some light showers
then generally sunny and breezy all afternoon with a max of 18.3°C.

(19:25), 16.1°C, RH 72%, DP 11.2°C, 1002.6 hPa (R), Wind 9 mph W.
