Golf this morning was more to be endured than enjoyed :-( Charles and Camilla are attending a garden party at Milton's Cottage in the village here this afternoon. All the local dignitaries are dressed up in their Sunday best and looking as if they are about to melt into greasy blobs. I suppose my invitation must have gone missing in the post :-) 24-HR STATISTICS Max (0900-0900z): 26.7 at 1555z Min (0900-0900z): 12.2 at 0330z Grass min (1800-0900z): 10.4 Rain (0900-0900z): Nil Norman. -- Norman Lynagh Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire 85m a.s.l. I never understand people dressing up in heat, surely more sensible to have an open necked shirt and no jacket and you can still look smart. I have attended a few weddings myself leaving the jacket in the car and taking my tie off not caring what others think. Being comfortable and not sweating is much more important, at least to me.
