Presently, the MetO have flash warnings out for the NE and SW (though,
wierdly, only Cornwall in shaded orange!?): http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/..._warnings.html TORRO have a tornado and large hail watch out for this evening and into tonight: http://www.torro.org.uk/torro/forecast/index.php Some exceptional conditions possible as this plume really takes its cap off and bids us farewell. Those storms are on a heading of 030, and the ones currently in existance
will miss the UK, judging by the sat animation.. -- Bernard Burton Wokingham, Berkshire, UK. I think the only chance of some 'fireworks' is something from France but Bernard thinks these are not heading our way I think. Regards Robin |

That storm over the Loire is moving NE and there are other storms over NW France moving NE as well. The whole lot may just miss the SE corner of England. A damp squib for us? Still got the night to go, but this may end up as no more than a threat. Paul |
