I really should check my stats before posting as it appears this has
been the second wettest July in this area since my Met O record began
in the late 60s. Wettest was 150.6mm at nearby Low Etherley in 1988.

Currently 021640Z 23017KT 9999 SCT 18/11 Q1008
Reasonable day today for 55N and 1000ft asl, high 19.6C sun 5hr so
far, and 0.8mm rain in showers from 06Z-09Z
