Brussels on Thursday 7th August

Day started dull with heavy rain and a couple of rumbles of thunder
from 08.30 to 08.45 local time, and rain again from 11.00 to 11.15.
Very heavy rain from 13.00 - torrential from 13.15 to 13.25.

Rain stopped at 13.30 and cloud broke around 14.00 – sunny spells and
variable Cu until 16.45 when it clouded over again followed by light
rain for a few minutes at 17.30.

Darkening sky, gusty wind and several rumbles of thunder around 18.35
with heavy rain for a few minutes from 18.45. Another spell of
fairly heavy rain 19.15 to 20.30 with a very long rumble of thunder at
19.50 and another at 20.15. Rain stopped and sky brightened somewhat
after 20.30.

Mainly light wind from various directions but moderate SW to W in the
afternoon and blustery at the approach of the evening rain.

Brussels Uccle 23.8°C - overnight minimum 19.0°C - and 11 mm rain.
Brussels Airport 23.4°C - overnight minimum 17.9°C - and 9 mm.
