A moderator's job is normally seem as being to reject abusive and off-topic posts, and moaning about the weather doesn't fall under either of those categories.. The calling of another contributor a c*** would have initiated an automatic ban on every weather forum on the Internet except for this ng. You were challenenged and found wanting, by several people. You have a track record of being mildly abusive and yet you now wish to take a moral standpoint. You purport to speak for a nation, then try to speak for "a few" on a distant website when really, the views are your own. You've been outed. Hold up your hands and say "uncle". Siding with another known abuser won't help you. I doubt whether an appeal to TH will be your last word either, but toys and prams may be the next step.............. Paul |

All rather embarrassing, really. We have known more peaceful times, where contributors concentrated more on the weather rather than on whom to slag off. It's affected me as much as anybody, I'm afraid, but once the temperature has been raised it's difficult to bring it down again without turning off the gas, so to speak.
