Warm again today with a max. of 20.7C (over 2 degrees above normal) and with
light winds it is very pleasant. OK a lot of cloud and a bit of drizzle but really it's quite nice with some bright and sunny breaks at times. Cloud and a bit of drizzle are no big deal up here as we get these conditions often quite normally, and the warmth is a welcome bonus! If you don't expect much you can't be disappointed much. All change next week with fog, heavy rain and strong winds at times as summer comes to an end. Will (Haytor, Devon, 1017 feet asl) -- |

Will (Haytor, Devon, 1017 feet asl) I'm at a total loss to understand this guy. An I'm going to pursue this. In a recent post he says "It's f*****g mild and wet winters I hate!" then its suddenly all change, whilst referring to cloud and drizzle "and the warmth is a welcome bonus! " Agreed different times of the year but it doesnt add up. Surely warmth of any kind in association with wet conditions even if not exactly torrential rainstorms plus the comment of "he hates f*****g mild and wet winters" is total opposite to a comment of "the warmth is a welcome bonus". Which way are you wriggling out of that. I bet I know you're on about you're love of cold crisp winter mornings with wall to wall sunshine! I don't recall much of that even here in the SE. and while I'm at it, pedantic as it is but I have nothing better to do right now, All change next week with fog, heavy rain and strong winds at times as summer comes to an end.
