Default [WR} Rain, rain and more rain in Chalfont St Giles

It took a long time coming but we've ended up with our fair share of
rain here, and someone else's share.

After half an hour or so of distant thunder to the SW heavy rain
suddenly started at about 1610z and continued for about 2 hours with
rates up to about 52 mm/hr according to the Davis VP. The rain was
accompanied by occasional thunder and lightning. The rain has now eased
back to moderate. Since 1610 there's been 34 mm according to the Davis
VP. The manual gauge will probably give around 40 mm. I haven't been
out but undoubtedly there's a lot of nuisance flooding on the roads.

Missed all of the activity here. In fact had less than 1mm of rain in the
last 10 days.
