In this part of the world last night was not too bad. Only 19.2 mm rain (AWS) and a force 5 southeasterly. Even on the higher moor at Postbridge just 20mm so far. That is a very modest total indeed for Dartmoor. The really torrential rain looked to be over Cornwall and has now scooted up north into SW Wales. Still continuous heavy rain and low clouds scudding very quickly across the sky. House lights on. Temperature 13.2C. Ground sodden. More to come as they say! Will (Haytor, Devon, 1017 feet asl) -- |
