(1425Z): rain now returned - skies actually stratiform type so obviously some broader-scale lifting going on rather than individual Cu/Cb. Still thundering - odd rumble every minute or so - no CG seen (good vis), and to judge by sound (rolling thunder), probably CC activity only. .... (1515Z): no thunder heard for at least 15 mins, but raining steadily (slight, ocnl moderate) from BKN SC/OVC AS - a decidedly 'frontal' (dynamic forcing) look to the sky rather than convective.
