Yes.
So much for the dry week ahead the forecasters were saying on Friday. Why do they bother talking about the coming week. Ever time they open their mouths it all goes tits up!!!! Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net Heavy here in 'sunny' Margate. I seem to remember a cool pool (546) on the charts out to the east a few days ago that I would suggest has slipped through un-noticed? |

Keith (Southend) While convective cloud tops were generally only around 9000FT there was a fair bit of CAPE. That combined with a sub-zero layer between 6000 and 9000FT and enhanced upper forcing down the eastern side of the UK led to some fairly lively showers during the afternoon. They *were* predicting showers for yesterday, on the Countryfile forecast, though. -- Paul Hyett, Cheltenham (change 'invalid83261' to 'blueyonder' to email me) |
