Default [WR] Haytor (a little bit of rain)

This posting expresses the personal view and opinions of the author.
Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do.
================================================== ==================

Well it rained all morning from the early hours and we got
19.5 mm .

Not a heavy fall by any means, but certainly enough to freshen the garden and to
ensure that I can go the whole summer now without watering the main garden (ie
not tubs) at all.

Total for month now crept up to 25.0 mm .

From a fresh and blooming Haytor,

Will.

Default [WR] Haytor (a little bit of rain)

13.4 mm overnight here in Warlingham, NE Surrey, and a few more mm late
morning. Dry, cloudy and still until 1600Z, then gusty but light shower. Max
temp 15.2°C, the lowest in August here since 13/8/92.
The garden doesn't know if it's dry or wet. The grass is still straw and
underneath it's as hard as nails but it's incongruously squelchy. Must take
time to soak in. All a bit too late to save the dried clapped-out leaves which
are falling all over the place.

Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, Surrey. 556 ft AMSL
