A day of unbroken sunshine (at least it has been since I emerged at
09:00, apparently it was misty earlier) Max temp 18.7C, the warmest day of October. Very light breeze and rather hazy. The surfing beaches were busy with people taking advantage a a 4-6' swell combined with virtually no wind & warm sunshine. Summer seems to have come a little late this year. Graham Penzance |

Reached 20.5°C here this afternoon. A misty start but soon sunny and a total
of 8.42 hours of continuous sunshine (recorder started 09:42 and ended 18:06). Very poor visibility at the moment at low altitude. Noticeably clearer up on the higher ground (i.e., Dartmoor) above 1500 ft. Hello Dave R from your favourite place. ________________ Nick. Otter Valley, Devon 83 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |
