Does anyone know of any good links for forecast models etc for the
Caribbean area? We're off to Cuba on Sunday and notice there seems to
be a tropical wave at the western end of the Island and was wondering
what any expected developments maybe. We're on the north of the Island
about 100 miles east of Havana. I don't seem to be able to find the
same sort of model data that we get further north. I guess I'm just
hoping for a sunny week ;-)

Many thanks

Thanks everyone for the continued links, the Cuba Met site is excellent:
http://www.met.inf.cu/asp/genesis.as...AS&TB1=INICIAL
Rainfall radar, the lot, a little slow downloading, but lots of info.

We were lucky with our week in Cornwall Graham, I think we had the best
week of the summer, I even got burnt ;-)
I mustn't complain as between work and pleasure I've chalked off Oman,
UAE, Ireland (North & South), Cornwall and now Cuba. I just hope my luck
doesn't run out.

Regards

Mmm, just decoded my Americas data and the wettest place yesterday was:

78229 Varadero/MT(65m)Cuba 55.0 mm.

I hope they've had their rain now !
