A shame for the headline-writers that it wasn't 1908! I travelled to
Coventry from Birmingham by train this lunchtime; it was interesting that
north of about Birmingham Airport snow was only lying in sheltered parts,
but from there until the northern outskirts of Coventry itself there was
a complete cover. Sadly I didn't have a camera with me, but it's
certainly one for the mental scrapbook!
