First fall of snow of the season on the North Pennines overnight, snow
level appears to be 1500ft and looks quite thick. I had a number of heavy showers from 10pm last night which produce 8.5mm of rain and a Temp of +2.8 so there could be several cm of lying snow on the tops Currently 2.5c, Winds NNE at 2knots Overnight lows - Air Min +1.4c, Grass Min -3.7c Paul C Brampton, Cumbria www.bramptonweather.co.uk |
