.... rain started in intermittent fashion ~1030Z, then became
persistent ~11Z, ocnl moderate intensity since then, and recently turned heavy. A filthy afternoon - fading light, gusty wind - 10 mm of rain already. Just like the November days of old :-) Martin. -- Martin Rowley West Moors, East Dorset (UK): 17m (56ft) amsl Lat: 50.82N Long: 01.88W NGR: SU 082 023 |

Very heavy rain not far from Ottery St Mary now according to radar, I guess that's the last thing the flood affected residents want :-( Patchy light rain here in Haytor, but intermittent, very cold with a keen wind and a day max. of just 5.4C, which is more like February! Will (Haytor, Devon, 1017 feet asl) -- Just far enough west to keep sunshine for much of the day. Just a little small/medium cumulus. Frontal cloud visible to the ESE all day. Not too bad in the sunshine, just topped 10C, a fraction down on yesterday. Cloud moved in around 16:00. Graham Penzance |
