Default Satellite Data Archive

Dear All,

Does anyone know of any satellite data archives specifically for NW Europe?
I'm familiar with the sat.dundee.ac.uk website - but are there any others
around? Am looking for wintertime extratropical cyclones post-2000,
essentially.

Cheers
Richard

I have a modest archive on my web site. I have earlier imagery on CD if you
can be specific about dates and location:

Richard,

Try:

http://www.class.ngdc.noaa.gov/saa/products/welcome

Create and account and get the AVHRR (and other) data for free - note that
while the 1km data is available day-time, it is not available at night-time
(although this does vary a bit...).

Data can be read and processed by David Taylor's HRPT reader available at:
http://www.david-taylor.myby.co.uk/software/hrpt.htm

Chris

Top class Chris - many thanks. Some impressive high resolution stuff there.
