Similar in Chalfont St Giles with -2.3C at 1335z. It was up to +3.6 by
1600 but it's been easing back down again since then.

Fascinating to see things like this with my (relatively) new AWS. If you
are interested go here www.laindonweather.co.uk and click on trends at the
bottom and then outside temperature. You can see the dew point rise around
4pm -6pm as you mention and then drop again along with the temperature.
Presumably as the front went through as it was accompanied at 6.15pm by
strong gusts and a burst of sleety rain.

Default [WR] S.Essex. Low dew point.

Dewpoint low here too (well, low for this part of the world).

Min DP was 3.3°C at 18:45. At the same time RH was 70% & air temp was 8.4°C.

Temperature and DP now rising.

A max of 12.0°C earlier this morning, the temperature has since been slowly
lowering throughout the day until 19:00. A total of 3.0 hours of sunshine
today.

(20:15), 8.7°C, RH 76%, 4.6°C, 1020 hPa (R), Wind 8 mph NW.
