Does anyone know why the Met Office weather forecasts are so
skitzophrenic? I refer to pages like this one http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/...t_weather.html Quite often they will, for example, show heavy rain for Thursday all the way up until Thursday morning, at which time it will suddenly turn to bright sunshine all day! The final forecast on the actual day often tallies more with what has actually been forecast at the end of BBC news throughout most of the week. Does the MetO website use some sort of automation to make these forecasts on the website, perhaps based on not very accurate models? Simon |
