Default [OBS] Romsey - Sunday 7th December 2008

Heavy hoar frost this morning on grass and rooves but
none on trees. There's none on my car either because
it's in the garage :-) Some sparkling on the lanes which
is suggestive of patchy ice. Misty, most noticeable to
the northeast but no sign of fog.

Default [OBS] Romsey - Sunday 7th December 2008

A bright sunny day with the frost persisting in the shade.
The frost has consolidated this evening and it looks
as if someone has thrown glitter onto the pavement.
Patches of fog are forming to the south and west of
Romsey but the light northeast drift is keeping it at bay.

Default [OBS] Romsey - Sunday 7th December 2008

Subtle changes have taken place in the last hour. The fog
patches to the south and west are dispersing while another
has cropped up to the northwest. The CI/CS sheet is still
moving across the sky from the northwest but I have just
spotted some thin SC cross the moon from what appears
to be the opposite direction. Very uncertain of its height
but looks lowish, so I'll plump for 3000ft.
