We are still coaching youngsters sailing at weekends. With an
expensive coach booked in for today, the forecast was all important as
to whether we paid for him to come over to the Island or not. For the
past few days, the charts have been showing a very strong Southerly
turning light and variable behind the front. The charts had changed
little and we cancelled yestyerday. Absolutly spot on to the hour!!
Having studied the charts for the past 50 tyears I am amzed at the 3
day accuracy of the met office charts
