Is back again for a sequel on GFS 6Z run.
LOL, almost certainly an outlier, but is it? .... Just written my Dartmoor forecast for Christmas in the usual place. I've gone locally for a sunny and cold day with max. circa 4-6C but with a raw feeling light to moderate easterly wind. Will -- |

Excellent agreement between those available models for T+144 in the poor man's ensemble. (Actually, I wonder why an inter-model comparison is called "poor man's" ensemble - I would think agreement between entirely different models is more robust an answer as to the weather's outcome than ensemble members of a single model that all may be exhibiting the same model flaw). http://meteocentre.com/models/compar...=144&range=glb A good crisp cold Xmas comes 2nd place to a snowy one for me. Excellent. Richard |

"Airports, road and rail operators across the UK receive detailed weather

For some reason I seem to have this criterion that it has to be worse outside than inside on Christmas Day. Probably because I'm in no fit state to go out, usually ;-) Dave |
