Not everyone No, John Hall has his two feet squarely on the ground and the
likes of Philip Eden Phil Layton and of course Darren Prescott who just
present it as it is but most here yes are fixated. John suggested I was in a
newsgroup that had an awful lot of an 'extremist' element were weather was
concerned and that the average weather interest person away from this ng,
like a Joe Bloggs for instance, who knew a little bit about weather but not
to the extent of the exremists.

I must confess that I do like cold, snowy weather myself. But I don't
think that those with different tastes in weather are thereby bad
people. Can't you accept the same about the snow enthusiasts? They are
perfectly entitled to like snow, and there's no call to abuse them for
it.

Dave R.

You seem to have a serious problem with anyone that lives in the South
West.

I was born in Teignmouth, my father was born in Teignmouth, and so was
his father, we have all lived and worked in the Teignmouth area all
our lives to support the local economy.

I chose not to move away to London or any of the other big cities
because I appreciate the natural beauty and quieter way off life,
which is shared by some of the others from the South West that post on
this forum.

Living in the South West does have its downside, with lower wages,
higher house prices and cost of living, so I make no apology for
living in the South West, that was my choice.

You need to get a life and loose that chip on your shoulder.

In that case you should have made that clear.
