Default VIS imagery - rope features and more ...

This blocked anticyclonic circulation is throwing up some fascinating
imagery: have a look at ...

and the fine ribbon of cloud extending all the way from Beachy Head
westward to just south of the Lizard then swinging out into a whole
train of such rope features in the SW Approaches. The North Sea also
has some interesting structure - highlit by the winter-time sunshine.

Yes, a good image. It's been predominantly cloudy over southern parts
of the Lizard this morning.
