Default Provisional sunshine totals

Although we have had seven days without any sunshine this month, it
looks as if December 2008 will become the sunniest December in
Coventry since 2001, with 46% more sunshine than the 30-year city
average.

With 1557.2 hours of sunshine during 2008, we have enjoyed 6% more
sunshine than normal, though this is still the lowest annual sunshine
total in the city since 2005.
