Visiting Leeds today to find some strange effects of the mist. From
time to time through the day there were ice needles falling. The mist would also thicken from fog then lift back to mist very qucikly even though there was no breeze. Temps below freezing all day and with the mist and fog it cannot be dry air yet no deposit of frost even the heavily salted road remain mostly dry. Happy New Year Simon S |
