Default Most of Europe now snow covered

Interesting to see the extent of snow cover this morning, the Meteosat 9
images show most of Europe with a covering. This 'could' have led to
some really cold nights if the HP had persisted.

Cheers

'could' ? I think most places have had their coldest nights for a few
years. 'if the HP had persisted'. I thought that it was until the weekend?
You're getting too pessimistic James, with that crystal ball. ;-)

Not here. Temperature fell to -3.6°C at 22:30 and then rose fairly steadily to
it's current reading of 2.7°C.
