dog-walker opening up the church. Never mind: there's always bread!

Since noon the S side of the house has been in bright sunshine, and the
snow that was on the thatch has started to thaw. Probably just in time
to freeze solid this evening.

Hi, Jim

It only lasted an hour or two. I think it must have migrated your way.

This morning it's high cloud, and my AWS, or its software, has gone
haywire. It's reporting temp max/min today 3.6/-1.0, this month 2.2/0.0.
I've turned it off for now, I'll leave it half an hour and try it again.
The software is in the house, naturally, so it can't have been affected
by the cold. So I don't know where I'm to, as they say in these parts.
