There's a wrap around effect now for the cut off low and we're getting
bands of snow coming up from the south. Here's a webcam picture taken at about 09:25 http://www.meteosat.talktalk.net/porthcawl1.jpg Snowy cheers James -- James Brown |

There seems to be the possibility of more on Thursday according to the lunchtime forecast. Mostly melted from roads and pavements here now. I can put the web cam on stream if anything 'special' occurs! Cheers James -- James Brown |

I can put the web cam on stream if anything 'special' occurs! That would be good. I've just been out to feed my sheep. The fields have about 12 inches of snow on them but it has drifted. Two small flocks are fine but the third was having trouble with the drifts (the lambs were a little small and were struggling) so I brought them into the sheep shed. No sign of any melting here and we are still cut off. -- Howard Neil |
