Default How borderline is Thursday and beyond for the 'extreme event'?

Just wondering what the dynamics are - will there be cold air to bring
into the mix, how great the rate of precipitation, how deep will the low
go, how far north...?

Will, where are you ;-))

I'm going to look at it closely tonight once all the 12Z runs are in. It has
the potential for a blizzard down here in upland SW and snow elsewhere, but
let me study it first.
