Lead Mill 218m Max 1.0C min -7.5C snow 23cm Met ) 253m Max 0.1C min -5.5C grass -6.8C rain trace sun 4th nil snow 22cm Nothing much to report, still white as it's been for a lot of this winter, becoming monotonous. Wind vane frozen at SSE, concrete min frozen onto concrete, grass and concrete surrounded by walls of snow - so inaccurate readings. Solid fuel frozen in bunker, oil disappearing at an alarming rate. The snow excitement hasn't quite made it to Copley. I was reading somewhere that snow makes neighbours speak - don't need snow for that here. A mild spell now, please. At least we're missing today's yukky stuff. Roll on spring. 051010Z 32004KT 9999 OVC As M02/M04 Q0993 Ken Copley, nr Barney, Teesdale, County Durham http://website.copley.orange.co.uk |

I feel stuck without 4WD ATM but at least SWMBO did the weekly shop yesterday and we still have plenty of wood :-) Will -- |

Pleased you are OK but I bet you enjoyed it in a way only true weather nuts like us can! Snow clearance around here is excellent btw. Slightly OT but we have a wood / solid fuel stove now. It replaced the old open fire and the lack of draughts in the house now is amazing. Keep sending the reports in - looking like a fine weekend for us, but the Bishop Auckland game will be off - again. I think we have about 10 games to catch up. Well stuck at the bottom of the Northern League anyway. Ken, Copley |
