Default any snow lovers sick of the snow yet?

In '63, I was studying in Liverpool and travelling home to S.Derbys at
weekends in a Mini..
I used to pick different routes depending on weather - and recall taking the
'Cat & Fiddle' road often to encounter incredible snow scenes. Got stuck
once only and ended up playing cards in the back of a van with others
similarly immobile. Another nearby van was supplying hot bacon butties - a
memorable occasion - but I wouldn't do it now - wisdom? - not sure about
that - more likely cowardice!

Guess I'm a little less brave/stupid now.

Is it lack of bravery or an increase in the wisdom that comes with age?
50 years ago I would drive long distances in poor conditions without even
thinking
about it. Today I think too much about it.

In my case it's lack of confidence (or bravery if you will) which, I've found,
has crept up on me over the past ten years or so.

I've always lacked wisdom.
