Default South Northamptonshire

Heavy snowfall this morning 07.45 to 09.30hrs adding another 7cms to
what was still there after yesterdays 10cms.
Overnight temps didn't fall below 0.6C. Ground thermometer buried -
but no signs of any ice.

Present temp 0.6C. Soil temp at 60cm depth 4.5C Lowest I've recorded
since burying the probe September 2007

Many local roads difficult or impassable - any slight gradient and no-
ones going nowhere - and virtually all schools in Niorthamptonshire.
