After Tuesday's 4cm of snow (which was fairly dry and compacted to ice on
the roads) it's a different picture today; Woke up to around 12cm of level snow which I believe is the most here for many a year (we're only a mile or so from the Bristol Channel and 100ft ASL). This is wet and heavy snow, and has readily turned to the worst kind of dirty slush on the roads! Next door has used his snow shovel twice this week, the first time it's seen use since he moved here 13yrs ago! |
