Quite a consistent difference in the outlook between these models.
MetO going along with EC with another 2 weeks of cold conditions, whereas
WeatherOnline, who use the GFS model, bring us mild weather with temps up to
13c by Thursday.

Phil

My money's on EC/MetO GM and I wouldn't be surprised if the cold theme lasts
until the end of the month.

Hi Jon.

My daughter was in Exeter last night and couldnt get a taxi home due snow -
must have been serious! I am coming down next week for her 21st so you must
get rid of all this snow by then!

Oh God I hope not - not after this week. Raw cold and rain all week here
in Norfolk. Little snow. You can keep this crap - i'd give a valuable
item of anatomy for 13c thanks very much.

... no thanks, I'll happily take 13C (and breezy to keep the fog away) all
winter too. This is too much like hard work :-)

BTW Chris, it must be about time the Barncam was resurrected !

Yes, it is!

Let's say it's on my To Do list, but don't hold your breath! Anyway,
there's nothing much to see at the moment .

Last time I reached 10C was on 22nd December and I'd be happy if I didn't
see 10C again till April then it can get as warm as it likes, that would be
fantastic for me!

My visitors got down from Somerset yesterday (eventually) Obviously
worth the journey www.turnstone-cottage.co.uk/

5C in Penzance currently, 3-4C inland from Truro westwards. Sunny
spells with scattered rain/soft hail showers.

Snap. My last 10C was on December 22nd in Fleet, Hampshire.

Only 5 days in December exceeded 10C.
