Rain turned to snow around lunch time. By 15:30 I had to rescue a girl who
got her beamer stuck on a sheet of ice.

Then it took 3hrs to drive 10 miles as there was major snow/ice issues on
Beacon Hill just south of Fleet.

Cars going up were spinning out and turning around and going back. Cars
coming down were sliding down sideways. Total gridlock with cars crawling
up/down where possible.

Thankfully my car is 4WD so going up was easy for me, but coming back down
everybody had to go at 1 or 2 mph and even then wheels were locking
intermittently.
