Just noticed, some low dewpoints in the far SW compared with most of
the UK. Same in SW Ireland.
Valentia/Penzance/Culdrose all around 3C at 13:00. Helps explain why
the cloud dispersed so readily here this morning.

Warmest day here too at +9.6C with some sunshine at times.
Still plenty of snow patches around on the moor as well. The side of
Hameldown ridge looks quite white in places from the A38.

Got up to 12.6°C here at 13:30 in the sunshine today though it did cloud
over after that. The warmest day so far of 2009.

It was quite a mild start this morning after an overnight low of 6.6°C.

Mean max: 7.0°C
Mean: 4.0°C.
Rain/snowfall: 51.9 mm.

Sunshine still a tad disappointing at only 46.3 hours so far.

Would think with mild or fairly mild weather until the end of the month
