Default When Recent Weather isn't Recent Weather.

If you look at Penzance, or Newquay forecast on the MetO site, then
click recent weather, the recent weather you get isn't for Penzance or
Newqay, it's for Camborne.

To use Camborne reports as a pretence for recent weather on both the
north & south coasts of Cornwall is ludicrous. At this time of year a
5C temperature difference between the coasts is commonplace (which way
around depends on the wind).

With the current north wind off a cold sea, Camborne is currently
around 9C. Penzance around 13C, Plymouth 14C, even the higher/more
exposed Cardinham/ Culdrose are 13C & 12C respectively.

Fortunately, you can get actual weather for both Penzance seafront and
St. Mawgan at www.xcweather.co.uk/

Of course, if you want real warmth - head to Copley!

Or here!

After the temperature hovering around 14°C for most of the afternoon it has
suddenly shot up a few degrees and now stands at 16.7°C with a quick peak 10
minutes ago of 17.2°C. The screen has been in the shade for the last hour or
so, so that can be discounted.

Unbroken sunshine all day, sun sensor turned on at 06:35.

(15:25), 16.7°C, RH 46%, DP 5.1°C, 1030 hPa (F), Wind 6 mph NW.

Or even up on Dartmoor! A whopping 12.9C max. and still +10.0C at 1700.
Tee-shirt weather today giving the grass its first cut of the season.
Sunny all day which is unusual for up here at this time of year, more like
August.

Hi, Graham,

Went without a coat to watch Bishop Auckland FC this afternoon, fool

13.7C here with 11.5hr sun but I'm an old softie these days.
