Well at the BBC it would seem the number is infinite -well the license
fee is a sort of tax so why not waste it.-its not their money so why
be careful.

No Ron it's just when watching the BBC news in the morning there's the
national weather usually with Driftwood from the Blue Peter garden, then
there's that chubby girl with the large front and glasses-she used to do the
traffic reports, and if you switch over to News 24 it starts again as for
BBC radio don't start me. I mean there's hardly any diffrence between the
local and national anyhow.bar a smidgen of detail.

Lawrence, you must mean "Kate". You're right, she did used to do the
traffic, with some bloke who looked a bit scruffy and never wore a tie
(he seems to have disappeared). Mind you, I always thought Kate
looked scruffy as well and thought she was just one of the cleaners
filling in. Now she does the weather, I'm still inclined to think
she's a cleaner, filling in. She seems to take it in turns with that
Wendy bimbo.

The whole breakfast thing is pretty sloppy, anyway, and appears to be
one of those uber-dumbed down programmes aimed at the , er, younger
viewer.
